REFUND POLICY:
If the traveler, whether student or parent purchases the Simplified Plus Trip Protection Plan, 100% of payments
made will be refunded to the payor up until the day the trip begins regardless of the reason. Once the trip
begins, refunds will be issued on a line-by-line basis depending on which parts of the trips have been completed.
If Trip Protection is not purchased, all payments are non-refundable, unless the trip is cancelled. Please see
below for cancellation scenarios.

CANCELLATION BY SIMPLIFIED STUDENT TRAVEL
Once payments are made, they are non-refundable, as those payments go towards securing vendors used for
the school’s customized trip. Exceptions will be made if the traveler purchases trip protection where full or
partial refunds will be issued. Once the school gives a verbal commitment that they will use the services
provided by Simplified Student Travel, the Trip Insurance terms and conditions will be sent to the lead teacher.
Trips take place based on a certain number of paid travelers. If that number is not met, Simplified Student Travel
reserves the right to cancel the trip. If payments are not received by the stated deadlines, Simplified Student
may cancel the trip. In cases where Simplified Student Travel cancels the trip, refunds, when possible, will be
issued. If trip protection was purchased, full refunds will be issued.

CANCELLATION BY AN ORGANIZATION OUTSIDE OF SIMPLIFIED STUDENT TRAVEL:
Trips may be cancelled by individuals or entities outside of Simplified Student Travel for various reasons outside
of our control. Simplified Student Travel will work with schools and individuals should a trip be cancelled by an
external governing body. Simplified Student Travel is committed to working with leaders to reschedule
postponed trips if possible. If a trip cannot be rescheduled, Simplified Student Travel will seek to obtain refunds
from our vendors and provide the highest possible refund and/or credit for future travel. Refund amounts will be
accumulated and redistributed to paying customers in the order in which initial payment was received. Refunds
will be issued back to travelers in time when we receive refunds from our vendors. Simplified Student Travel will
remain under the authority of the local government where we would take a trip. Cancellations issued by local,
state or federal authorities will also qualify for a refund. Simplified Student Travel will work with group leaders
and vendors to reschedule a trip if possible. If a trip cannot be rescheduled, Simplified Student Travel will issue
refunds in time with the refunds we obtain from our vendors. If the school or academic institution cancels the
trip for whatever reason, Simplified Student Travel will work with our partnering vendors to recoup funds paidand will use those funds for reimbursement. In cases where the school cancels the trip, Simplified Student
Travel cannot be held liable for funds that we are not able to recoup.

TRIP PROTECTION PLAN
Trip Protection Plans are designed to reimburse customers who for a multitude of reasons cannot go on the trip
for which they tendered payment for. We suggest the purchase of a protection plan for each traveler. We will
handle the trip protection plan internally and offer one simple option. The Simplified Plus Trip Protection Plan
allows for “Cancel for Any Reason” coverage. (including but not limited to global pandemics). The optional
Simplified Plus Trip Protection Plan allows travelers to cancel their scheduled travel arrangements and receive
100% of the prepaid non-refundable trip-payments for any reason. If a traveler believes for any reason that
there is a pending conflict with the trip dates and another personal activity during that time, trip protection
should be purchased. If the traveler suffers from any medical condition, trip protection should be purchased.

LIABILITY WAIVER
Simplified Student Travel partners with independent contractors who are not employees. Simplified Student
does not manage the employees, operations, or equipment of our supplying partners. In consideration of the
risk of injury to a participant during a trip, traveler and/or legal guardian knowingly and voluntarily enters into
this waiver and release of liability hereby waiving any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind
whatsoever arising out participating in the trip, and do hereby release and forever discharge Simplified Student
Travel, LLC, their affiliates, managers, members, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, successors
and assigns, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death,
damages, economical or emotional loss, that traveler and/or legal guardian may suffer as a direct result of
his/her participation, including travel to and from an event related to the trip. On behalf of himself/herself
and/or dependent, traveler and/or legal guardian agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Simplified Student
Travel, LLC against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages,
compensation or otherwise brought by an individual or anyone on their behalf, including attorney's fees and any
related costs, if litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by traveler and/or legal guardian or by anyone else
acting on his/her behalf. To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for negligence, this
release is also for negligence on the part of Simplified Student Travel, LLC, its agents, and employees. Traveler
and/or legal guardian agree to indemnify and hold Simplified Student Travel LLC harmless (including costs of
defense) for any third-party claim arising out of the Traveler’s intentional or negligent conduct causing harm
during the trip. Traveler and/or legal guardian should carry his or her own health insurance in addition to any
travel insurance or protection plan purchased for this trip.
